“Best Supporting Actor”- One for the Team
We saw this local band at the Triple Rock a couple of nights ago. They are really young, I think still in high school, and have tremendous talent. I predict they will make it big someday. There are two things to note:
1. The lead vocals are a boy and girl (think Mates of State cross Handsome Furs), and I think they may be dating because their interaction was so darn cute on stage, and they were selling their merch afterwards and kept laughing and touching each other.
2. The parents of the band members came out to support them. It almost made me cry, how proud they were of their children. One mom kept hugging her son afterward, showing off to everybody. I could just imagine her thinking, “yeah, that’s right, that’s my son, and he rocks!”.
