This is one of the best photos Scott took of Abby and I of 2008.  We were up on the North Shore for his sister’s wedding.  We camped the night before at Temperance River, and were heading up to Bluefin Bay that day for the wedding.  I will never forget Abby being so scared she climbed in between Scott and I on our Thermarests, eventually squeezed me off the soft(er) bed and me sleeping on the hard ground, and Abby peacefully sleeping next to me.  That’s ok though, there are sacrifices you make sometimes to ensure a scared, loved one gets some sleep.
